Quran of Nairizi
Any matter that is in relation with Holy Quran, from the appearance of the words and reading the verses up to thedeep meaning wich leads the human being from the closed world of materialities to the un-ended world of spirituality is holy.
At the beginning of descent of inspiration, the Arabic script was used for writing the holy messages. But this script without the signs is called Koufi script.Koufi script is related to Koufeh city in Iraq and has been eztracted as the most proper Islamic scrip for designing and decoration one century before the construction of Koufeh with a kind of old typography script, Hejazi, from two alphabets of Nebti and Syriac.
From four centuries, the east Koufi-Iranian script has been used. Then typography script with five other script(mohaghegh, reyhan, sols, reghah, and toughih)were completed by the innovation fo Ebn Moghaleh.In the 4th and 5th Lunar Hijri centuries Ebn Bavab and in the 6th century Yaghout Mostasemi by using the typography script in their hand-scripts of Holy Quran, upgraded this script.In spite of the fact that historical typography script was as the Koufi script, but after its completion by Ebn Moghaleh, was upgraded by Professor Ahmad Nairizi. His supporter and encourager was Soultan Hossein Safavi. Hi vesting which have been created during the 60 years of the blossoming of art and mostly in Isfahan, in respect of number and art value are great treasures.90% of the art vestiges are the copies of Quran and then Sahifeh Sajjadieh and the collections of surah or one surah and also adieh(good wishes).
The clear sighted people say that the number the Copies of Quran is between 8 to 12. The Office of Endowment printed one of the valuable copies in 1334 Solar Hijri(1955-56) by the protection of the Court which has not letter of seperation. One of his vestiges is a calligraphy of Sahifeh which is under print by the efforts of National Home Books. But the holy Mushaf that by the agrace of God has been remaied in one of the Qajar families has letter of sparation and date. It has been written in 1128 Lunar Hijri and its decoration has been completed up to 1168 Lunar Hijri.
This noble and delicate Mushaf shows the ultimate art writing Quran and the Islamic World which has been done by one of the artists and the real protectors of culture by using the most progressed possibilities and technology by using 10 Kg of pure gold and preserving the originality and speciality of the original copy, which was published in 1380 Solar Hijri (2001) in Germany. The cover of this Mushaf and its frame is made of wood and covered by cashmere which has also an enclosure, a booklet consisted from the introduction from Professor Mahmoud Farshchian, Hosein Nasr, Bahaeddin Khoramshahi, Mohammad Ehsaii, Aydin Aghdashlou and Mohammad Hadi Marefat.
For the delicacy of this print it is enough to mention that the artistic renovation in respect of the original script of the next, margins, decorations, the type of paper, bookbindery and cover are similar to the original copy and their ditinction is not easy and only they are different in respect of being new and old.
